Rev. Nathan Mayfield

Senior Pastor

Nathan was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. After spending twenty years in the IT industry, he and his family moved to Louisville where he earned two degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Nathan has served as a Youth Pastor, Prison Ministry Evangelist, and a Pastor before coming to Hazelwood. Nathan is married to Pam and they are the proud parents of Paul, Jessica, and Tori. Nathan enjoys sports, politics, and coffee with friends.

Community Pastor

Micah was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica where his parents served with the International Mission Board (IMB) as missionaries. He moved to the United States and began his studies at Boyce College where he received a BA in Missiology. He continued his studies at Southern Seminary where he received an M.Div. in Christian Ministry. During his time at Boyce and Southern Seminary, Micah served as Hazelwood’s Youth Pastor. Micah and his wife Tori have been married since 2014. They are proud parents to their son, Titus. 

Dr. John Florence

Worship Pastor

John is a Veterinarian by vocation and an extremely talented musician, leading Hazelwood's Worship Ministry. John is also a talented artist, dabbling in watercolors, and is the resident calligrapher. John is happily married to Vickie and they enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Youth Pastor

Garrison was born and raised in Louisville, and grew up with four brothers, two older and two younger. He is a graduate from the University of Louisville, where he studied finance. He is currently pursuing an M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  In high school, he played a variety of sports, including soccer, golf, and basketball. During high school, he served as Vice-President and later President of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). Garrison came to faith and was baptized at an early age. His daily goal is “to represent Christ with every action, word, and thought.
